This is a Comenius project about young people in Europe and their every day life, culture, education and dreams.
Schools from Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, Spain and also a teacher's training college in Switzerland are taking part in this EU project under the name Comenius.
The project is divided into two separate parts. One is a Musical on the theme Migration where pupils and teachers from the different schools write, rehearse and perform together. The name of the musical is Crossroads.
The other part is our common web site where pupils from the participating schools are working together with common goals to exchange educational materials, and thereby learn more about each other.
The chosen topics are:
- My School
- My hometown and the people of my hometown
- Culture, music, literature and art
- Food, holidays and traditions
- Environmental issues and health
- Dreams of the future
Our goal is to use our common web site, (this site) to collect and publish all the important work in form of articles, pictures, films and presentations along with the theme of migration presented through the musical.
Each school's own web site is to be used for further information, depth studies, diarys and other work (there are links to and a short presentation of each school).
Coordinating school for
the web site is Stålforsskolan, Sweden.
Coordinating school for
the Musical is Fjaere Skole, Norway.
Today, when the project is over, we can look back on five really good shows in front of almost 5000 persons in the different countries we played.
The last show in Norway was very good and there was a new ending. After the flag scene we packed all the flags in a suitcase as preparing for the future and then we just turned off the lights - the end!
THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING!
